DUET POETRY: INFANCY – FLOWERING PURE DIVINITY

by: Avadhooth Guruprasad and Jen Walls

At the beginning, lives infancy.
There’s a raw tenderness exploding;
glowing warmth inside of care.
Everywhere, sustenance shares;
sparking a healing flame.
Nameless and shameless,
we are held transfixed.
Really, there’s no pain
nor any pleasure here.
We’re held, near and dear
in perfect protection.
Love is more than affection.
Devotion is an ocean of bliss.
We hope to never miss our first kiss,
where Love’s suckling extends.
We cannot pretend to know nor forget
that we’ve been held this close in life.
There is never any stress nor strife
that can break our holy-heart moment.
We are held forever timeless in time;
never complicated by reason or rhyme.
Where do we find our faithful flowering?
We try and watch with eyes closed;
only to know Love’s giving touch.
A dear infancy lives so much.
It is birthless and deathless, too.
There’s no fear, where love holds true.
A child understands Mom’s scent,
as her unique sacred smell guides.
This divine language is nature’s way;
offering healthy communication.
Whenever a tiny baby often cries,
Mother cannot control flowing some milk.
Her gift of nurturing helps raise that baby.
A love blessing connects within flow.
Even after we are fully grown,
there remains wholesome energy;
surrounding us with silence.
A pure invisibility connects
beyond two unique bodies.
Divine nerves exist yet eyes can’t see.
Never cut away, all holy channels stay;
knowing that love is forever flowing.
A sacred trance dances;
encapsulating breaths.
If we’ll mother as dear Mother,
her understanding grace arrives.
Abiding, inside a love meditation,
Heart lovingly provides.
These healing bonds of life
bring heartbeats closer than close.
We are more than just a body;
feeling universal connectivity.
We’re going free on a full journey,
up from sweet infancy.
Even the smallest God
is held by Love.
Love’s holding us closer.
Infant lips and tongue are searching;
holding on and letting go.
Life lives this natural flow;
flowering pure divinity.
