You are Fine

Author

I looked at his face
colourless, hopeless
agitated, no grace…

I looked into his eyes
lost, painful, saying byes
I heard their cries…

You are fine
You will be fine…

Amazed, his colour changed
his eyes caught my words, dazed
incredulous, they just gaped…

He looked around
His own smile he found
People here, my health
Waiting for my last breath…
Are you sure?
There is cure?

Yes, my word divine
You will be fine

Live long, Nature benign…

Ten years long, he lived
Magic words in their ears he drilled…
