Parachutes

Parachutes

In the realm of triumphant feats above,

A fighter pilot ejects, parachuting  to safety,

Unaware that a parachute rigger,

Guardian of his safety, remains unsung.

Thanks and congrats go unheard,

Life’s challenges loom, muffling issues.

Physical, mental and spiritual parachutes

Essential , demonstrating their necessity.

Amidst life’s threats, individuals emerge,

Human parachutes offering solace,

Through words, deeds, and heartfelt prayers.

Let gratitude , a whispered ember, rise

To paint the canvas of their watchful skies

For silent saviors, cloaked in common days,

Deserve the sunlit warmth of graceful praise
