A dying flower<\/strong><\/h3>
October – December 2024<\/strong><\/span><\/h6>

I watch as you slowly wither away<\/p>

like a dying flower,<\/p>

You blame me for your pitiful state<\/p>

Thinking it was me,<\/p>

Who forgot to water your roots.<\/p>

You say you love my flaws<\/p>

But you look away When I show you my scars.<\/p>

You fly across foreign land<\/p>

But to knock at my door might burn your hand,<\/p>

And you fear that you’d be lost in this maze,<\/p>

Forget your path and know not your way back home.<\/p>

But I still wait by the door for you to come<\/p>

Wondering if this is the place where you belong.<\/p>

Now this screen is the place Where<\/p>

I see your Face and your arms on her shoulder ,<\/p>

I notice your silly little smile as you look into her eyes<\/p>

And I just sit here and watch<\/p>

As you slowly wither away, like a dying flower.<\/p>

Eclipse<\/strong><\/h3>

I wonder what it’s like<\/p>

To be your moon ,<\/p>

To shine upon you<\/p>

In the darkest of nights,<\/p>

To be the serene moonlight<\/p>

That soothes your face<\/p>

And how it makes you glow,<\/p>

To steal your light<\/p>

That makes me shine;<\/p>

And when we meet<\/p>

They call it an eclipse ,<\/p>

The world engulfed<\/p>

In ever-growing darkness<\/p>

While we rejoice in our union;<\/p>

But perhaps, I was never the moon,<\/p>

I was the brutal sunlight<\/p>

In the midst of june<\/p>

That you hide yourself from,<\/p>

I wasn’t the apricity<\/p>

That you craved for<\/p>

On cold winter mornings,<\/p>

I was the thunderstorm<\/p>

That lands on your windowsill<\/p>

So you close them shut ;<\/p>

I was the harsh wind<\/p>

Enchantingly roaring into your ears;<\/p>

I was all that you wanted to escape from<\/p>

And indeed, I was never the moon<\/p>

That you wanted in your sky.<\/p>
