It is a little farm, in the wild, up a hill,<\/p>\n

There has been snow this night : white cover on the fields,<\/p>\n

I wake up in the misty dawn when just revealed,<\/p>\n

The Sun, everything is quiet and is still.<\/p>\n



<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Well, brother Sun, you might be shining all your lights,<\/p>\n

Then you could maybe heat us down here a little\u2026\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

Think-I. And I walk down the snows, pass the stable,<\/p>\n

Reach the kitchen, pour coffee. Morning will be bright !<\/p>\n



<\/p>\n

I hear the dogs grunting, as they enter the room.<\/p>\n

I greet them. They get out\u2026 \u00ab\u00a0Lord knows what dreams a dog !\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

Alone again, I start a new stove with two logs.<\/p>\n



<\/p>\n

While thinking: \u00ab\u00a0Our lives are full of an unknown,<\/p>\n

Yet perceivable fact, there is more to be shown,<\/p>\n

Around\u2026\u00a0\u00bb I sit and eat, toasts with jelly of plum.<\/p>\n



Be simple\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The most humble is happiest.<\/p>\n

The most efficient, most simple.<\/p>\n

Good hearts beat in many people\u2026<\/p>\n

Common sense knows how to harvest !<\/p>\n



<\/p>\n

And there is far more, there is Love !<\/p>\n

There are birds, singing by the grove,<\/p>\n

Nature all around, abundance,<\/p>\n

Mystery ! As the children dance\u2026<\/p>\n



<\/p>\n

We are blessed ! Oh, I knew sorrows,<\/p>\n

In times past yes, but still I hope,<\/p>\n

For better days and tomorrows\u2026<\/p>\n



<\/p>\n

Yes, the Skies hold us on their scope,<\/p>\n

We men, women, youngsters, should know,<\/p>\n

Joy, desire, waters of hop.<\/p>\n




The Party<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

In Berlin\u2026<\/p>\n


There was music around, all of us were dancing,<\/p>\n

To the loud, frenetic melody and scansion,<\/p>\n

Though we were three hundred, we would not feel tension,<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Only the love, the joy, as these speakers would sing\u2026<\/p>\n


Yes ! Even if I had come alone to the place,<\/p>\n

I was feeling upheld by the crowd as I moved,<\/p>\n

With the rhythm, so strong ! Soon our party improved :<\/p>\n

When I saw at my side a cute girl\u2019s happy face.<\/p>\n


\u00ab\u00a0Mm\u00a0\u00bb Thought-I. \u00ab\u00a0This woman is pretty ! Attractive !\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

And I bounced for some more, my eyes shut, with a smile\u2026<\/p>\n

Then there after we kissed. I proposed we would leave.<\/p>\n

We walked for a moment in the surrounding woods,<\/p>\n

Let apart what followed when a quarter of mile,<\/p>\n

Further, we sat and leaned, and kissed, and kissed, moulded\u2026<\/p>\n




<\/p>\n

The Elephant<\/strong><\/p>\n


I saw a bathing elephant,<\/p>\n

In a pond, once in Cambodia,<\/p>\n

Very tall, massive, elegant,<\/p>\n

He splashed along with euphoria\u2026<\/p>\n



<\/p>\n
