God is dead<\/strong><\/p>

Thousands, Millions Billions<\/p>

Leaving the mythical honey trap<\/p>

Leaving the fathom full of hate-sea<\/p>

Leaving the path full of darkness<\/p>

The rulers of this earth seem worried now like their ruler<\/p>

They both have deep sigh in anguish!<\/p>

When they see<\/p>

The crowd of blooming petals approaching<\/p>

Questioning the faith<\/p>

When they see<\/p>

Countless youths are approaching\u00a0<\/p>

And questioning them<\/p>

In search of truth<\/p>

God is dead<\/p>

God is dead, they know<\/p>

Soon or late\u2026.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Gone enough<\/strong><\/p>

Gone enough<\/p>

in my river of pain!<\/p>

Innumerable stars lost like floating hyacinth<\/p>

Perhaps floating still on a flooded stream\u00a0<\/p>

Innumerable still fortunately surviving like a caged bird<\/p>

However, every day they\u00a0pass\u00a0<\/p>

through lightening of\u00a0 threats!\u00a0<\/p>

An invisible, unknown but inevitable destiny is constantly whispering even in sleep\u00a0<\/p>

“Convert or leave”<\/p>

The wind is blowing fast like a black horse<\/p>

Anything may happen like 1946<\/p>

Now, tears fall no more<\/p>

Enough fell so far<\/p>

And wet my bed with blood<\/p>

Even I feel now perspiration is drying up from my panting skin in fear\u00a0<\/p>

The beatings of my heart are now tuning into fearfully fearless\u00a0pulse\u00a0<\/p>

The skin is losing its glow\u00a0slowly though<\/p>

The helpless bones are waiting to be fractured in silence\u00a0<\/p>

My sleepless neurons are no more able to respond<\/p>

Light is quietly losing\u00a0<\/p>

As once, light was lost from my ancestral home\u00a0<\/p>

Gone enough!\u00a0<\/p>

Gone enough from my homeland!\u00a0<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

I am not a Lotus Eater <\/strong><\/p>

I have no time to live<\/p>

in a den of pleasure<\/p>

I can\u2019t wane my time<\/p>

in a Lotus land<\/p>

Where sleepers sleeping for decades<\/p>

I can\u2019t\u2026<\/p>

I see these Lotus Eaters<\/p>

Surrounding me\u00a0<\/p>

I can\u2019t live among them, I know<\/p>

History always haunts me<\/p>

It always keeps me awake<\/p>

It\u2019s always haunting my veins<\/p>

even in sleep<\/p>

I feel always<\/p>

The smell of bones left decades before haunting my nose\u00a0<\/p>

even in sleep<\/p>

I see always<\/p>

The huge crowd of dead bodies haunting my senses<\/p>

even in sleep<\/p>

I feel always<\/p>

The drops of blood still dripping so quietly\u00a0from unnamed burials<\/p>

even in sleep<\/p>

I feel always<\/p>

How they all are still writing the name of my homeland with Red Blood<\/p>

They are writing my sad tales in my sky still<\/p>

They are painting my painful memories\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

I walk among them<\/p>

even in sleep<\/p>

to listen to the painful calls of my sisters<\/p>

to listen to the wails coming from million\u00a0 burials\u00a0<\/p>

to listen to the wails coming from of the train compartments\u00a0<\/p>

Those trains carried the blood of my father, grand-father\u00a0<\/p>

to listen to the wails of innocent children<\/p>

Who moaned, moaned, moaned for decades<\/p>

from far and near<\/p>

for their humble Ma and Baba<\/p>

I walk among them<\/p>

to listen to the calls of those muddy paths<\/p>

They too are heavily burdened with the spot of blood<\/p>

I walk among them<\/p>

to listen to the calls of\u00a0 Feni and\u00a0 Padma\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

They are still trying to whisper the tales of blood bath<\/p>

I can\u2019t live<\/p>

Never have I time to live in sleep\u00a0<\/p>

So long, I listen to the wails of my memories \u00a0<\/p>

from the burials of East Bengal…<\/p>

Dr. Ghosh’s literary prowess has found its way into numerous esteemed platforms, including National and International E-journals, journals, magazines, and paperback anthologies like Spillwords, Culturalreverence, The Mirror of Time, The Rock Pebbles, the Creative Flight and many more.\u00a0 His literary contributions are diverse, reflecting a deep engagement with various facets of the human experience.<\/p>

Dr. Ghosh’s poems have been transliterated into many languages. Dr. Ghosh is well known as the co-Editor of an International Journal titled \u201cThe Mirror of Time\u2019.
