THE PARAKEET<\/strong><\/h4><p><br \/>by: Avadhooth Guruprasad and Jen Walls<\/p><p><br \/>I remember now, as the glow was very bright.<br \/>It was early too, in light of a refreshing morning.<br \/>I thought I saw the warming day burst-free;<br \/>fulfilling such gentle care of special breaths.<br \/>The sun rays sprayed into a golden sparkling,<br \/>and sky played by painting orange colorings.<br \/>From my lonely windowsill, I now understood.<br \/>Heart silently waited within soul&#8217;s opening;<br \/>sharing to care for this green within my blue.<br \/>Those heartbeats of pomegranate-red fed me, too.<br \/>Eyes could barely make out enough to see those<br \/>flapping wings, hiding inside precious greenery.<br \/>Heart listened deeply, feeling to find the truth;<br \/>composing notes with friendly chirping sounds.<br \/>A glorious green parakeet played most faithfully,<br \/>His music profound &#8211;
